I like taking the best port cities and filling the extra slots with cities. For example, take Rome, build three extra cities, then give away the other two areas plus the duchy. WebSep 24, 2024 · I'm still running with the 'keep vassals' weak strategy and just giving a Duke 1 county in their dejure land and the rest to individual vassals. I remember in the past some advocated giving a Duke 50% of the counties in the de-jure duchy and the rest to individuals counts, or giving all land in a duchy to the duke so they develop better. WebBest way imo is to give each individual county to a different person, and only give the duchy to the one holding the duchy capital. Repeat this process if you need to give a kingdom title away.
